Employment Support Worker

37.5 hours per week / £20,456 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to improve the lives of autistic people, to work as part of an Employability service.

You will be responsible for a small caseload of learners with autism aged 16 years and over who wish to find employment. You will liaise with local employers to engage them in the programme and promote the benefits of employing autistic people in the workplace.  You should therefore have extensive knowledge, skills and understanding of Autism and experience of paid work supporting young people and/or adults with autism.

Vocational Learning Mentor

37.5 hours per week – term time only / £17,169 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to improve the lives of autistic individuals, to work as part of an Employability service.

You will provide one to one and small group support within training and work-based environments to learners with autism and/or learning disabilities who are participating in the Employability programme.  You will support them to overcome barriers to learning and engage in accredited learning programmes.  You should therefore have extensive knowledge, skills and understanding of Autistic Spectrum Conditions and will have experience supporting young people or adults who are on the autism spectrum, some of whom may have an associated learning disability.
