Career Opportunities

We currently have sessional Playleader vacancies on our Recreation projects

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to improve the lives of autistic people, to work as part of our Recreation service and join a team of dedicated childcare practitioners as a Playleader.  Our projects provide social opportunities for autistic young people aged 5 to 25 years.

The successful candidate should have knowledge, skills and experience of supporting Autistic people.  We are keen to recruit candidates with a relevant Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification, however this is not essential.

HACS is an equal opportunities and inclusive employer.  Applications from people with disabilities and ethnic minorities who meet the essential criteria are actively encouraged as a diverse workforce is vital to our continued success. We particularly welcome applications from those with a diagnosis of autism or Asperger syndrome.  HACS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
