Adult Autism Hub: Have Your Say

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MEETING IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR PARENTS/CARERS

We would like to invite you to a ‘have your say’ virtual Autism Hub event for our Adult Support service .  This will be an opportunity for you to virtually meet other adults in Hillingdon who have a diagnosis of autism.  Many of the people attending this event will have only recently received their diagnosis and are keen to meet other autistic adults in the area. For this first initial meet up, we will have a planning discussion regarding:

• Activities      and support that you would like HACS to offer
• The days and times you would prefer to meet

What will happen: The meet up will be relaxed and informal in a safe and non-judgmental environment.  You can attend this event to just listen and hear from other people, or if you feel comfortable you will have the opportunity to speak and share your views. We will also be monitoring the chat box for people who feel more comfortable typing instead of speaking. We hope that this will be the first event of many, where people will have the opportunity to meet new people, take part in enjoyable activities and learn more about autism through the sharing of experiences.

How the event will be delivered: Zoom Meeting (you can keep your camera turned off if you would prefer). A telephone can be used to phone into the meeting if technology is not available.

When: Saturday 27th March, Time: 11am-1pm
