Adult Autism Hub - Monthly discussion group

Please note this is not an event for parents/carers

We are now running monthly adult discussion groups as part of our new adult support service at HACS. These groups will be an opportunity to take part in discussions with other autistic adults, meet new people and learn more about autism through the sharing of experiences.. Discussion topics will be decided prior to the session. The meet up will be relaxed and informal in a safe and non-judgmental environment.  You can attend this event to just listen and hear from other people, or if you feel comfortable you will have the opportunity to speak and share your views. We will also be monitoring the chat box for people who feel more comfortable typing instead of speaking. We hope that this will be the first event of many, where people will have the opportunity to meet new people, take part in enjoyable activities and learn more about autism through the sharing of experiences.

How the event will be delivered: Zoom Meeting (you can keep your camera turned off if you would prefer). A telephone can be used to phone into the meeting if technology is not available.
