Autism: Promoting Positive Behaviour
A training session for parents/carers and professionals to understand the functions of behaviour and identify what may cause an autistic meltdown. We will look at adjusting environments and providing tools to support autistic people using a positive behaviour approach.

About This Event
All behaviour has a function, it is a way of communicating. We must first learn the function of this behaviour.
This workshop will cover:
- Understanding the functions of behaviour
- Practise using tools that can be used to understand and unpick behaviour
- The autistic meltdown
- Develop a range of strategies using a positive behaviour approach
- Explore emotional regulation tools to support the well-being and self-esteem of autistic people
