About This Event
DFN Project Search is a supported internship programme for young people aged 17 to 24 years with an EHCP who are autistic or have a learning disability and are looking for a job.
We have two different Project Search programmes, one based in the Civic Centre in Uxbridge and one based in Hillingdon Hospital.
The Project Search programme gives young people the chance to develop their employability skills as well as providing hands-on experience in the workplace and gain confidence in applying for a job. During this 1-year programme, interns will:
Complete work experience in three different departments
Work towards gaining an employability qualification
Be supported by a college tutor from Orchard Hill and a Job Coach from Hillingdon Autistic Care & Support
