Coronavirus Service Update

We understand that with constantly changing government advice, together with the pressures of school closures you will be anxious to know about what support you can receive from us and how our services are being delivered.

We have a wide range of telephone and digital services for you and your family during this time, including:

TELEPHONE HELPLINE (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm)

VIRTUAL PARENT/CARER SUPPORT GROUPS (Zoom Meetings)

1-2-1 ADULT SUPPORT (Telephone / Zoom Meetings)

1-2-1 FAMILY SUPPORT (Telephone / Zoom Meetings)

WEBINARS (Autism, Legal advice and much more)

VIRTUAL ADULT SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

VIRTUAL YOUTH GROUP

SOCIALWISE (Zoom Group sessions)

At this time, we are not in a position to re-open the Saturday clubs due to the nature of buildings we use. Firstly social distancing will be difficult to enforce due to the small space we are working within, and very high staff ratios to children. Secondly, with using external buildings, we have no control over the hygiene and cleanliness of the building.

Please be assured that we are continuing to review the status of the Children and Young People’s services and establish alternative ways of working, which may include operating on much smaller group numbers. We will provide you an update in early June in accordance with new government guidance and more information from the local authority on the buildings we use.
