At Hillingdon Autistic Care & Support (HACS), we are proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible work of the Daniella Logun Foundation (DLF), a local charity dedicated to supporting children and young people affected by cancer and their families. The charity was established in memory of Daniella Logun, who sadly passed away from a brain tumour at the age of 12, and was founded to ensure that no family faces childhood cancer alone.
This September, as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, DLF will be hosting its 5th Annual Family Fun Day, bringing together families, community groups, local organisations and residents for a day of fun, awareness and fundraising.
Family Fun Day 2026
📅 Saturday 26 September 2026🕐 1:00pm – 6:00pm📍 Uxbridge High School, 111 The Greenway, Hillingdon, UB8 2PR
The event promises something for everyone, including:
Free toys for the first 500 children
Giant bouncy castles
Face painting
Children's mascots
Live DJ and entertainment
Games and activities
Fire trucks for children to explore
Ice cream and refreshments
Information stalls from local community organisations
Children can attend free of charge, while adults are asked to make a minimum donation of £2.50, with all proceeds helping DLF continue their vital support services for local families affected by childhood cancer.
Wear Something Yellow
This year's event theme is#WearSomethingYellow, encouraging attendees to wear yellow and make a small donation to support children and families facing cancer. Funds raised help provide wellbeing packs, practical assistance, home visits and emotional support to families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Supporting Local Families
The Daniella Logun Foundation (DLF) provides holistic support for children with cancer and their families, helping to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing through practical, emotional and community-based support. Their work fills an important gap for families navigating the impact of a childhood cancer diagnosis.
As a fellow local charity, HACS understands the importance of community support and partnership. We are pleased to help raise awareness of this fantastic event and encourage our families, supporters and local residents to get involved.

Whether you attend with family and friends, share the event with your networks, or simply wear something yellow in support, every contribution helps make a difference.
We hope to see many of our HACS community members there for what promises to be a wonderful day of fun, connection and community spirit. 💛
