We are proud to share the exciting progress of our "Mission Possible" Summer Skills Programme, made possible through the generous support of the London Youth Summer Skills Grants 2025.

Now in its third week, the programme has welcomed 17 young people aged 14 to 25 on a journey of skill-building, confidence development and social connection. The initiative, which runs throughout the summer, is designed to support autistic young people in developing essential life and employability skills in a fun, inclusive environment.

Young people have already taken part in a range of interactive skills workshops, while also enjoying social activities aimed at boosting confidence and building friendships. Highlights so far include a lively game at Hollywood Bowl, a group outing to the Odeon Cinema, and a shared meal at Red Iron Burger — all experiences that help reinforce independence and community engagement.

We’re thrilled to see such enthusiasm and progress from everyone involved. This programme not only helps young people prepare for the world of work but also ensures they have a summer full of positive memories and meaningful connections.

The Summer Skills Programme is part our wider commitment to supporting autistic individuals in Hillingdon through tailored opportunities that promote wellbeing, independence, and inclusion.
